Bring Sanctuary in Trauma to Your Church or Ministry

Equip Your Church or Ministry to Walk Alongside Hurting Women

Many women in your community are silently carrying the weight of trauma—grief, loss, abuse, betrayal, or deep wounds from their past. They long for healing but may not know where to start. Sanctuary in Trauma (SiT) equips churches and ministries to provide a safe space for women to process their pain and find lasting hope in Jesus.

What Is a SiT Session?

SiT Sessions are 12-week small groups designed to guide women through practical tools and Biblical truth for healing. Led by trained SiT trainers, each session offers a safe environment for participants to process their trauma, find hope, and experience rest and renewal.

How You Can Start a SiT Session

Starting a SiT Session is simple. We provide the training and resources—you provide the space and leadership.

1.

Identify a Trainer

SiT Sessions are led by women who feel called to walk alongside those who are hurting. Leaders don’t need to be licensed counselors—just compassionate believers with a heart for caring. Sessions can be hosted in churches, women’s ministries, crisis centers, shelters, and other outreach settings.

2.

Get Equipped

We provide training, curriculum, and ongoing support to equip your facilitator. Training covers how to create a safe space, lead discussions with care, and guide participants toward Christ-centered healing.

3.

Launch Your First Session

Once trained, your trainer will gather a small group of women and begin the 12-week journey. Sessions are structured, yet flexible, allowing women to move at their own pace while processing their trauma

4.

Ongoing Support

Your church or ministry isn’t alone in this—SiT is here to support you. We offer:

  • Trainer coaching and mentorship
  • Promotional materials to spread the word
  •  A network of trained leaders for encouragement and wisdom

Why SiT?

  • Christ-Centered: Every session points women to Jesus as their ultimate source of healing.
  • Safe and Confidential: We prioritize creating an environment where women feel seen, heard, and supported.
  • Simple and Effective: No prior counseling experience is needed—just a heart to serve and a willingness to learn.
